Name who may approve extra work and keep tenant records and entry details out of the public request. ## Start with timing and access Say when the previous occupant leaves, when the unit can be accessed and when a new occupant is expected. Note whether any areas are still occupied. Tell the contractor who will arrange keys or access, but do not enter a gate code or lock combination in the initial form. ## List work by room and priority Make a room-by-room list. Separate an active leak or damaged entry point from routine finish items. Add known repair needs, lock changes, smoke or fire alarm work, plumbing repairs, screens, flooring and cleaning only where they apply.
