It matches homeowners with an independent contractor for a residential trade. It is not a contractor itself and is not a party to any work performed. The agreement for the work is between you and the contractor. ## Quotes and contracts Any quote you receive comes from the contractor, on their own paper. The contract for the work, its terms, its schedule and its warranty are the contractor's, not ours. We do not draft, review or enforce that agreement. ## Cost figures on this site Ranges cited on this site come from Hamilton Home Costs, Blue Crane's sister site, and are dated, mid-range published estimates with HST excluded. They are not quotes from any contractor and they are not a promise of what your specific job will cost. Verify the current figure and confirm it fits your job before relying on it. ## Partner information What we say about a partner business is read from their own published site or Google profile as of the date shown on their page. We do not independently verify every claim a business makes about itself. If you find an error, tell us at [hello@905trades.ca](mailto:hello@905trades.ca) and we will correct it. ## The referral fee The contractor pays 905 Trades a referral fee on jobs that close through us. It is paid by the contractor out of their own margin. It does not change the price you are quoted. ## No promises about outcomes We check the five items described on our [partners page](https://905trades.ca/partners/) before sending a business its first lead. We do not supervise the work itself, inspect it as it happens, or sign off on the result. How a specific job turns out is between you and the contractor, under their own quote and warranty. ## Acceptable use The request form is for real homeowners with a real job. Do not scrape it, automate submissions to it, or use it to send anything other than a genuine request. ## Governing law These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. ## Changes and contact We may update these terms as the site changes.
