What to include in the request
For a kitchen or bathroom, note whether fixtures are moving and whether walls, plumbing, electrical or ventilation may change. For basement work, describe ceiling height concerns, moisture, access and any existing finished areas. These details help the operator identify the right introduction, but they are not a building assessment or permit decision.
Make the renovation scope easier to discuss
- List the rooms and separate required work from finishes you are still choosing.
- Describe visible conditions such as a finished basement, water damage or a wall that may need to change.
- Say whether plumbing, electrical, framing or concrete work may be part of the project, without assuming what is behind a wall.
- Note whether the home will be occupied and which rooms or utilities need to remain usable.
Questions to bring to a site review
Ask the contractor to identify what needs inspection, design or municipal review before a final scope can be prepared. Photos help explain visible conditions but do not establish structure or permit requirements. See the Cruzz Construction profile for its published renovation categories.
