905 Trades is paid by the contractors it introduces, out of what the job bills. You hire the contractor directly, on their quote and their contract, and the rate published here is the rate you pay.

905 Trades does not take applications from businesses nobody here has met. Every partner starts as somebody the operator sought out by name, and every one of them has confirmed to us that they meet this standard. What we do not do is collect their paperwork and keep it in a drawer, and we would rather say so than let you assume otherwise. Ask your contractor to show you their insurance and WSIB clearance before work starts. Each partner's own page sets out exactly what they told us and when.
What happens after you send a request
- You send one formThe job, the town, how to reach you. Two minutes. It gets a reference number like 905-260914-K7P2 that follows the job to the invoice.
- We match it to one partnerThe partner for that trade in that area gets your request the same day, with a copy to us so nothing is dropped.
- They call within a business dayThat is a condition of being on this site. They quote on their own paper and you sign with them, not with us.
- The job gets done, and we get paid by themWhen the work closes, the contractor pays us a referral fee. Your price was never touched.
